Vom Haus Dettmer, Visiting.

Vom Haus Dettmer has lots of visitors who come to see our dogs, play with our little furballs and also for future 'play dates' or socialization of big dogs! We are, however, closed during winter months in the Midwest, taking time off for family and our own personal activities outside of dogs. Yes, we do have a life outside of dogs! And, we normally don't allow folks to visit our puppies until they are past three weeks of age, in order to protect them until their immune systems are much stronger. We also don't allow new clients visiting for puppy selections or pick ups to bring their dogs at that time. We do hope you understand why we ask you to leave your family companions at home when visiting, so that our babies and dogs are protected. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO OUR HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF OUR COMPANIONS!

From time-to-time, we will post pictures of our dogs and visitors on this page. One, so you can see that our dogs are social and good-tempered to run free with other dogs and people, and two, so you can see all the fun folks have here at Vom Haus Dettmer. Sorry, we don't allow visitors to take photos!

On this visit, there were eight dogs. Four intact males and four intact females. One little pooch sitting in a dirt hole! Look closely to the right under the picnic table! Everyone played 'nice' in the sandbox!


	The puppies are always a big attraction. Sometimes, it is so hard to decide who is going to be their next Ultimate Companion!
The 'children' visits are the most memorable. Their expressions show the love and tell the story!

Vom Haus Dettmer is a great supporter of local and nearby 'fundraising' activities for Canine Shelters. One 8/12/06, we took our stallion Wotai and our baby girl Tika to the Cause For Paws at the Nebraska Humane Society. There were over 5000 dogs present that day. As you can see, we not only make every attempt to help our local communities with raising money to help our four-legged friends, we keep our dogs happy and social! You can see, even in crowds this large, our dogs are well-mannered and enjoy creatures of all kinds! See the next few pictures. It was so very hot for us!
