(This means, her hips are more tight than 90% of others in the German Shepherd breed tested!  The 'median' of this group is at 41%, so she's on tighter half of the laxity profile).     Ieeda is a more 'plush' coated German Shepherd with 'racoon' type eyes!   Ieeda's favorite resting place is the cold, ceramic floor...just over the air vent!  She's no dummy!     Ieeda is quite a ham, with a super temperament.  She never faulters in her loyal or obedient nature!   I could not have asked for anything more!

Ieeda is a fabulous, black and tan Long Coated German Shepherd, with a touch of silver!  Some might say call her an oversized' German Shepherd type.  She has a very square frame, boxy, with dense bone.  She is not a giant, but she has thick bone and a fabulous structure!

In the picture above, she was only a 12 week old GS puppy!  As an adult she has grown into a large German Shepherd with beautiful grace and versatility. We are very excited to have her at Vom Haus Dettmer, Long Coat German Shepherds!   We expect to add her to our breeding program in 2011!

Ieeda's parents are from a fine line of Oversized German Shepherds!  Her parents are Silver Mark and Goldie of Royalair Kennels.  Both large, straight back German Shepherds.  Her sire, Silver Mark is at 130 lbs.

BOTH of Ieeda's parents are OFA'd with EXCELLENT HIPS! 

Her sire has been tested free and non-carrier of the Degenerative Myelopathy gene!  Thank you Robin Krumm for your efforts in the betterment of the German Shepherd breed!

Ieeda has a typical German Shepherd temperament.  She barks to alert, yet is confident and happy to meet new friends.  She has a lively spirit.  She is very fast, jumps like deear and is amazingly loyal and obedient.  Indoors, she's as sweet and calm as they come. 

Ieeda's desire to be with her companions is great.  She's either by your side or in front always checking over her shoulder as you follow!   She would rather be with you, then anywhere else.

She excels at all she does!

Ieeda's lines include both black and tan German Shepherds and black and silver German Shepherds - TRUE black and silver! 

Ieeda's temperament is happy, outgoing and confident.  She is not shy or fearful of new exposures.  She acts aloof, yet warms up nicely to your request to move forward, or make friends.  Her personality is typical of a well-rounded, Long haired German Shepherd, curious, courageous, and confident! 

As you can see in her pictures below, Ieeda enjoys playing with her pack of Long Coat German Shepherd family members, and any others who she might have a chance to meet along the way!  She is in the middle, far back.  She LOVES to chase the ball, frisbee, or whatever comes her way.

Ieeda has been in the social environment since a very young pup.  She's always enjoyed outings and still today, races to ensure she gets a seat in the car when it leaves the driveway!
