At times,
we do offer up for sale dogs
that we kept back for breeding
assessment, and as they age we
find they either don't meet our
high standards of breeding, or
they don't pass health
clearances. Remember, not
ALL dogs are breeding dogs and
we don't waiver on our standards
JUST to produce a litter.
I AM a breeder and I sometimes
do need to buy long coat German
Shepherd pups of other lines.
It's not rare to find that these
pups too do not pass as breeding
specimens once they mature.
Again, NOT all dogs are breeding
dogs, and most are not!
It's always better to put these
dogs back into a home
environment vs a multi-dog
breeding home, where they don't
have to share time and space
with other dogs. Some
don't like other dogs, some need
more one-on-one work, and
remember...JUST because I
re-home a dog does NOT mean that
I don't care about it!
Placement is NOT taken lightly,
especially, with long coat
German shepherds who are past
the puppy age! My lifetime
"commitment" is that I find them
a life-time home that 'fits' the
dog AND owner. Just
because it's not in my haus,
don't mean that I'm not
committed to their well-being,
for life!
We have no young adult dogs for
sale at this time. All dogs have
been given loving homes, and I
thank those who are committed to
taking on an older dog.
NOT everyone desires the time or
challenges necessary when taking
on a young a puppy! We are
happy to 'fit' a dog to every
lifestyle, whenever possible!
To inquire
about her please email me at
shepherd@loganet.net AND
include your application!
Your request will not be
considered without an
application! We use
this to ensure that our dogs are
the right 'fit' for your home.
And, it helps with our phone
conversation to discuss your dog
needs. Thank you!

NOTE:
You MUST complete an application for a puppy or dog to get a response
from my Haus! No phone calls or inquiries will be returned unless
you send in an
APPLICATION to the above email address. SORRY, I need this
information to determine IF a Long Coat German Shepherd is a good 'fit'
for your haus! Thank you! |

Any retired
or older dogs will be sold with
no guarantees. They are
past the point in age for doing
so.
Any adult
will be
altered before leaving our haus
and the price of the dog will
also include
shipping.
Our adults
will NOT be placed lightly
and/or without verification of
an acceptable home. We
don't place many older dogs, and
most of them have been
raised/whelped at our haus.
We love them, and this makes for
a VERY difficult decision.
However, we want all of our Long
Coat German Shepherds to have
one-on-one attention, mind
stimulation, exercise, and a
whole lotta love.
We
prefer homes that are active,
enjoy working and/or training
with our dogs, going places and
very pet-oriented families.
Our dogs have been raised in a
multi-dog environment, with
daily hikes, attention and
'fun'. They are NOT couch
potatoes. We still want
our dogs who we might place to
'perform' with the happiness
in their hearts that they have
always known!
Call or
email me if you wish to discuss
others not yet listed, or
co-ownerships for young pups.

shepherd@loganet.net.
We
sometimes sell an adult who we
can no longer breed in our
lines, but wish to allow to keep
the line going, with a
co-ownership or on a pup back basis,
which allows for a new
'outcross' blood to be brought
back into our program.
This is VERY rare, and we only
co-own dogs with known,
RESPONSIBLE, REPUTABLE BREEDERS.
At times,
we have to sell dogs
we kept for breeding purposes,
then decided they fit better as a companion
dog vs the superior breeding
criteria that we set.
Therefore, we decide to put them
in pet homes. These are
not 'defective' or ill dogs, but
simply those dogs or puppies
that we determine are not
breeding quality, or compatible
with our 'mates'. NOT ALL
dogs compliment a breeding
program, not fit a specific
structure or temperament when we are seeking
certain traits for 'pairing'.
