"Cuvee Vom Haus Dettmer"

 Cuvee is a stunning black and red German-bred, Long Coat German Shepherd.  In Germany she might be known as a “Long Haired” German Shepherd.  She has a dark, deep red and black pigmentation that is well-known in the West German lines. 

Her colors are rich and robust, not faded or ‘washed’ as you might see in many of the state black and red bred dogs. 

Cuvee is FULL German lines, as her parents were imported from Germany, not bred from typical American lines.  She was bred by my Haus, of Sina and Wotai Vom Haus Dettmer.   She is the sister to Yulumbay!

 
As a Long Coat or Long Haired German Shepherd, Cuvee has all the fabulous West German Shepherd traits.  She’s a sound, strong and much ‘focused’ dog.  She knows what she wants and she works until she gets it.  Although, I only breed for my dogs to be Ultimate Family Companions, Cuvee would have the ability and versatility to be a Herding or ScH trained dog, as her heritage is so famously known.  Her great grandparents have significant titles and she carries those genes well. 
 

 

 
Cuvee is strong in temperament with a medium drive. 

She plays hard with a desire to achieve at all levels.  Her nose is to the ground and her eye is on her target!  She never falters.  Her intense stare is deep and she never breaks until she’s on top of her prey! 

She has the perfect Long Haired or Long Coat German Shepherd ‘stance’ and her gait is long and far reaching when she travels.  She prowls like a cat when she’s moving around, no less than gracefully. 

 
Cuvee is everything you could ask for in a Long Haired or Long Coat German Shepherd.  She is your best friend, your hiking and camping partner and your protector, if needed! 

Her bark is enough to keep your nosy neighbors away!  She can play with your children and go to ScH training all in the same day!  She’s got it all in one package!

Sound, versatile, with the desire to excel.  All natural abilities of this magnificent breed, the German Shepherd!

Cuvee has a long, flat back.  Her noticeable attributes are a large, square head with big bone structure. 

Her headset is perfect, with short erect ears, proportionate to her skull. 

Her expression is intelligent!  Her ears are ideally parallel to each other.  She’s almost picture perfect! 

She has deep, rich red and black pigmentation and a superior plush coat. 

Cuvee is neither hyper, nor aggressive, but aloof to strangers. 

She has very soft eyes like her daddy.  She carries her momma’s ‘silly’ temperament in playfulness! 

She LOVES water!  See her in her pictures after the floods! 

Her average weight at one year is upper 80’s.  She was not bred for size, nor was her size considered as ANY factor in keeping her for our breeding program!  She is larger than her momma at her age.
 

Cuvee is an amazing Long Coat German Shepherd.  She is extremely versatile and enjoys the great outdoors more than being inside.  She comes indoors, yet turns it on outdoors!

She would rather not have to tolerate the cat, but gives him no harm. 

She runs in a group with all my other dogs and is not submissive to any, nor aggressive.  She holds her own. 

She is very obedient and looks at you with eyes that melt your heart.  She is a loyal, Ultimate Long Haired German Shepherd.  She is the top dog between her and her sister Yulumbay!  You can see her other brothers and sisters on Sina’s past litters’ page, 2006.
