We are very pleased with
our next in line of long coat German
shepherd males to be used in our
breeding program at Vom Haus Dettmer.
Barrossa
is a black and cream Long Coat German Shepherd. His
mother is a black and cream German Shepherd and his father a
black and red Long Coat German Shepherd. He carries
for sable, black and liver genes!
Barrossa exhibits the many fine qualities that we seek at
our haus for the German Shepherd breed. He has a
great, large frame; big bone structure; very blocky head and
a short, erect ear-set.
Rossie is a wonderful, playful boy. He has a VERY
serious, intense presence, but is playful and accepting of
people and the other shepherds at our haus. Even
with other fur-visitors, he displays non-agressive behavior!
He's happy-go-lucky, agile and runs like lightening for his
stocky-tank build.
Rossie's very proportionate and not overly leggy for his
size. He's fits his body just right!
A very young boy at heart who loves
to play, fish and seek new adventures!!
You can see him below at
a nearby lake, swimming and fishing. He never
hesitated to 'fetch' into the deep, blue unknown, even at a
very young age!
He LOVES to play with his 'pack',
running, fetching and rolling around. The girls are
his playmates and he gives them a good run for their money!

After a very rough start as a puppy prior to his arrival to
our house, we have had a great pleasure in watching
him grow into his own wonderful place in this world!
